The  JME BN1 Cape Works Special Healey

1954 Austin Healey 100/4 BN1

Registration Number: 672 YUJ

Chassis Number: BN1/156115

Classic cars from even the best marques can provide opportunity for enhancement, often because they were manufactured and priced for a broad market. So although the early E-Type was widely acclaimed as perfection when launched in 1961, sixty or so years later the likes of Eagle have re-engineered the car to a level of performance and excellence that would be unimaginable to the factory.

As for Porsche, seen by most as the epitome of German engineering, their 911 provided the basis many years after the 911 was launched for Singer to produce examples that are quite simply in a different league.

For the Austin Healey marque we have JME Healey of Warwickshire, the only credible equivalent to the likes of Eagle and Singer.

The result of generations worth of knowhow is the masterpiece you see here, the ‘Cape works special Healey’.

This is neither a restored car nor a pastiche of the original. It is a completely re-engineered car. Like Eagle and Singer it uses the identity of an original, in this case a 1954 Right hand drive home market Healey 100/4 BN1, with the design and engineering drawing on the fifty years of experience with the marque since the founding of JME by John Everard. With three generations of the Everard family dedicated to the Healey marque, JME have developed a World-wide reputation for excellence.

All the more reason why we are delighted to be able to offer this Cape Healey ‘672 YUJ’ for immediate delivery.

Presented in Porsche Graphite Blue over black leather upholstery and black wire wheels, this truly exceptional Healey is in as new order throughout and is very much ready to be enjoyed. Accompanied by a comprehensive specification sheet detailed below and invoices for all works carried out at JME totalling in excess of £170,000.00.
