Having mated its legendary ‘S54’ 3.2 litre straight six engine to a lighter, stiffer car than the M3 in which the engine often sits, BMW created a proper no frills drivers car. 

These Z4M coupes are a very pleasing and hugely refreshing product in a world now filled with cars carrying immense weight, turbochargers and automatic gearboxes. 

Given these cars were produced in small numbers they are now a rare sight on UK roads, fewer still are low mileage, original and beautifully looked after examples. 

This rarity has seen a steady increase in the value of good Z4M coupes in recent years, giving it the often illusive benefit of being modern, extremely pretty and a clever buy.
